2toria Themes Wordpress

Some new stuff at 2toria towers

If you’re an IE6 user, chances are that the site hasn’t looked too good – apologies for that.  The template I’ve been using doesn’t support it. I’ve fixed it now though, so you should all be able to see the site in a much better light.  There’s still a few things I want to fix with the workaround template I’ve stuck in there, but it should be a hell of a lot easier to use.

I would however recommend that, if you can you upgrade your browser to something a bit better, such as Firefox or Chrome, as it looks so much better with newer browsers.

Some design changes

You might notice a few changes to the overall design of 2toria over the coming days.  I’ve been messing with some SEO plugins and will be generally cleaning up the layout during the week.  I updated the overall template of the blog last weekend, but it’s broken a few things and some of the layout has changed, which I don’t like, so it’s time to get under the hood a little and tinker with things to get them looking the way I like.

If anything seems broken whilst I’m doing this, do let me know.

Oh, and I also decided to remove the 30 day photo challenge posts from the blog – it was a bit of a non-starter.  I think I’ll stay on-topic from now.

WordPress: How to set the number of posts displayed

This one seems to catch a few people out – how do you set the number of posts which are displayed on your blog pages?  It’s actually really simple.

From your dashboard, click on ‘Reading’ under the ‘Settings’ section of the panel to the left:-

And, from the page which opens change the setting shown below:-

It’s that easy.  Save your changes and you’ll only see that number of posts on all of your post pages!

Leopards and spots

Apologies if you keep on coming back and the look of the site keeps changing – I’m still not sure how things should look or be laid out, but I’m getting there.  I’m actually liking this particular WordPress theme quite a lot, so I think I might stick with it for a while.

The theme I’m currently using is ‘Mystique’ by digitalnature if you want to check it out.
